I spent one week every summer from 2nd grade to 12th grade at a place called Camp Pearl. This is where some of the most amazing weeks of my life happened. One of the memories I have from those times is watching chalk drawings in chapel. We were always so excited to find out that Bro Jerry Long was at our week of camp because we got to watch him draw. He does some of the most beautiful drawings and there are always hidden surprises at the end with black lights and images of Jesus in the background.
Bro Jerry is now the pastor of Green Oak Bible Church in Kinder, Louisiana and still doing chalk drawings. We have been so blessed to have Green Oak partner with us after the first visit we had with them. We were excited to be invited to their annual Christmas Dinner as well as have Jerry give a short devotional. Everytime we visit we leave encouraged and thankful for a group of believers who love the Lord and love us.
