I first met Miss C over 20 years ago when she was my junior high P.E. teacher. We got reaquainted about 4 years ago at church. We were planning a mission trip to work at Centinnial Camp near Panajachel, Guatemala and Miss Cathy was on our team. She has a HUGE heart and enjoys hard work. Shopping in Guatemala is a unique experience and poor Miss Cathy just couldnt say no to any of the girls following her around begging her to buy from them. She ended up with so many blankets I dont know if she ever found enough people to give them to. The team did mostly manual labor on that first trip but everyone said it was extremely rewarding.
Miss Cathy also went on our second mission trip to Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala. She was a blessing to have on this trip as we worked in a school in a nearby village. She was able to lead P.E. time with over 300 Mayan children in 3 days.
Beside her work in Guatemala, Miss Cathy has become dear to us and our children. Thank You Miss Cathy for becoming our first 'official' partner in our journey to Guatemala and thank you for your love and prayers.
