An Update...

on our travels. We have been BUSY speaking at churches, it seems we have been away more than at our home church lately. We have every Sunday booked til the end of May except Easter, Mother's Day and 1 random Sunday. We are however having a blast catching up with old friends and making many new ones.
One of the churches we went to was Henderson Bible Church where we were able to hang out with the Soileaus and Wrights. I have known them forever it seems and our kids got to know each other last year at Camp Pearl so we all had a great time fellowshipping and enjoying Mrs Patti's yummy roast and lima beans!
We have also visited Dry Creek Bible Church where the Burchard's are pastoring. (for those of you who know Sam and Tammy- please be praying for Sam's younger brother who was severely wounded in Iraq) We had great fun learning about "whop biscuits". (these are the kind in a can that you "whop" on the cabinet to open) Maddy had a wonderful time getting to know Vika, while Cole and Sophie got into some sour cream(sorry I didnt get a pic of that). :)
here is a pic of all the kids (Burchards and Lastrapes)...

Lastly, we visited Grace Community Bible Church in Baton Rouge, where Jerry grew up. It was great being able to be in his "home church" and seeing so many old faces. We were very touched by the interest and support shown to us there. We spent one night with his grandparents and the other with his cousin and her husband. Nanny and Duke have been very influential in Jerry's life when it comes to missions so it was lots of fun for us to be able to share with them what God is doing in our lives. It was a great weekend.

hey enjoy those fun times traveling. Believe it or not Brock and I miss it. Not the support raising, but the traveling, seeing old friends, and making new ones.

Hope it is coming along alright!
